Park Lane International School - excelling in all phases of learning
Following a successful application for IB Diploma Programme authorisation, Park Lane International School officially became an IB World School from 1st February 2018 and its first cohort of IB Diploma Programme students will commence their studies in September.
As an accredited member of COBIS, Park Lane underwent its latest BSO (British Schools Overseas) inspection in March 2022, achieving full compliance with the new BSO inspection framework. In the inspection report, the quality of Park Lane pupils' learning, achievements and personal development are all described as excellent. The inspection report also says:
"Pupils throughout the school display outstanding attitudes towards learning as the result of consistent teaching approaches and the school's ethos, which is strongly promoted by the leadership."
"A well-designed curriculum provides clear direction and a high level of challenge."
"Teaching encourages original thinking by allowing time for pupils to solve difficult problems for themselves an, as a result, pupils demonstrate an excellent understanding of concepts."
"Across the school pupils work exceedingly well together to solve problems due to careful lesson planning which consistently creates a collaborative learning environment."
"The spirit of acceptance and openness in the school, which filters down from the leadership and is modelled by staff, results in pupils who are open-minded and curious about others and the world around them."
